Once on board you will head off on a leisurely lap of the harbour, the crew will then hoist the sails, turn off the engines and sail right out into beautiful Coffin Bay along the National Park coastline. Keep an eye out for our local dolphins that love to swim with the boat. Sit back and enjoy the scenery, get social or learn about sailing and the local sights. 

Included in this experience is an antipasto tasting platter for each booking group and of course a selection of Coffin Bay's famous oysters. We have a licensed bar on board with a great menu of local Eyre Peninsula and South Australian beverages should you wish to purchase refreshments to compliment your cruise.

It is built for the open ocean and easily takes all our guests on their  Sunset Cruise around the sheltered water ways of Coffin Bay in absolute comfort. The ride is smooth even on the very windy days. Welcome on board Sunset Charters luxury catamaran for a Dolphin swim experience in style. Sail right out into the heart of beautiful Coffin Bay to the home of our resident Burrunan Dolphins and get up close and personal in the water with these beautiful creatures. 

Not keen to get wet, don't worry you can also book on this tour as a Dolphin Watch passenger and view all the action from the deck as these playful creatures frolic right under your feet.  

Once on board you will sail straight out of the harbour on a five hour Dolphin Swim expedition. Transit to the Dolphin Swim area is a scenic 3 hour return trip through the most beautiful part of the sheltered waterways of Coffin Bay. Once at the swim area we will get you in the water to experience these playful creatures. We offer two swimming options; our swim net out the front of the boat and our mermaid tow lines at the back of the boat. Swimmers will be rotated through both experiences.

We interact with wild Dolphins in their natural environment, we do not pursue, feed or train them. Any interaction with the Dolphins is on their terms and for their enjoyment. Interactions may vary between trips depending on their level of interest and curiosity on the day.

Alternatively, if you want an exclusive experience and do not wish to join a public tour or have a group of people, you can book the whole boat for a Private Dolphin Swim Tour. Just choose this option when completing your booking.

Children 12 years and older are welcome on this tour. If your child is 8-12 years of age, confident with the Dolphin Swim physical requirements and wishes to participate, please contact Sunset Charters directly (Ph: 0409 336 136) to apply and book. Children under 8 years are unable to participate in the swim activities but are welcome to book on as a Dolphin Watch child fare.
